This page explains the cookies and similar browser technologies used by Finalizo at finalizo.com and its authenticated application subdomain. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

Essential technologies

Finalizo uses essential cookies and browser storage for authentication sessions, security controls, rate limiting, consent preferences, and core application behaviour. These technologies are necessary for a requested service and cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in, secure client links, or other product functions.

Examples include Auth.js/NextAuth session cookies, short-lived handover access controls, and the finalizo_cookie_consent preference cookie. The consent preference is scoped to .finalizo.com so a choice made on the marketing site can be respected by the application subdomain.

Analytics technologies

Finalizo uses Google Analytics and PostHog only after you choose Accept in the analytics consent prompt. Browser analytics are not loaded when you decline or before a choice is made. PostHog autocapture, session recording, performance capture, and exception capture are disabled in the browser configuration.

Sentry is used for essential error monitoring. Browser session replay is disabled in the released configuration; error monitoring may still process technical information needed to protect and operate the service.

Finalizo does not use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioural advertising pixels, or sell personal data.

Changing your choice

You can clear the finalizo_cookie_consent cookie in your browser settings to see the prompt again. Clearing cookies may also sign you out or remove other preferences. Declining analytics does not affect core product functionality.
