Getting Started with Finalizo

Finalizo helps you close client projects properly — with a professional handover pack, encrypted credential delivery, a signed client sign-off, and a clear support boundary. This guide walks you through your first pack from zero.

Step 1 — Create your account

Sign up at [finalizo.com/signup](/signup) using Google or a magic link. No credit card is needed for the Free plan. Once you're in, you'll land on the **Projects** dashboard — your command centre for every active and closed project.

Step 2 — Create your first project

Click **New Project** and fill in:

• **Project name** — e.g. "Bloom Studio Website"
• **Client name and email** — where the handover link gets sent
• **Project type** — web design, brand, no-code, or custom

Finalizo creates a private handover workspace for this project.

Step 3 — Choose a template

Templates pre-fill the handover with the right sections for your project type. There are templates for WordPress, Webflow, Framer, brand identity, no-code apps, and more. Templates prevent things getting missed — you can customise every item.

Step 4 — Build the pack

Work through the five sections in any order:

1. **Details** — project summary, launch date, deliverables 2. **Checklist items** — everything you're handing over, by category 3. **Credentials** — logins and access details, delivered encrypted 4. **Resources** — Loom videos, PDFs, docs, training links 5. **Support boundary** — what's included post-launch and what isn't

The progress bar shows pack completion as you go.

Step 5 — Send to your client

Click **Send to client**. Finalizo emails the client a secure private link. They review everything, and when happy, click **Sign off**. You're notified instantly, and a timestamped certificate is issued automatically.
